Northwoods Motor Mayhem - Car Criteria

Northwoods Motor Mayhem encourages all Gearheads and fans to show their special interest vehicles. No car class snobs here, if you think it is cool, we probably will too. Emphasis on the featured vehicles this year which are Rat Rods and Traditional Hot Rods.  Bring your Rat Rod to the only event in the great U.P. of Michigan that features them. 

These featured vehicles will be parked in and around the storefronts, and on the streets of the antique village at the fairgrounds. 

Featured parking in the antique village is for the full 2-day event. Rat Rods will be parked directly on the narrow streets with only emergency vehicle access. If you cannot commit your vehicle for the full 2-day event, do NOT request feature parking. 

Rat Rods in the featured parking area need to be pre-registered. This is due to the limited parking areas and placement among the old time shops and businesses. Pre-registration for all other participants is encouraged and preferred. 

Other vehicles, Vintage, Classics, Muscle Cars, Tuners, Vintage cycles etc., will be parked in general car show parking.  Show car access will be from North 30th Street to 14th Avenue North, entering at Gate 9. Fairgrounds map is available here. 

If you wish to park with friends, a group, or a car club, please arrive together. 

Car registration is free, only people pay admission. Cars that preregister will also be entered into a drawing for 6 free admissions: 3 admission tickets for 2 people for both days and 3 more admission tickets for 2 people for a single day. Only pre-registered vehicles are eligible for this drawing.
